Dell for Entrepreneurs Pitch Competition: Drop Water

DropwaterTwo months of pitch competitions, 55 pitches, 500+ applications… we present to you the Dell for Entrepreneurs Pitch Competition!

We had the pleasure of working alongside, The Cannon Community, The DEC Network, Endeavor, Nashville Entrepreneur Center, MassChallenge, Founder Institute, and Startup Grind as we partnered with Dell for Entrepreneurs to bring the best startups to a national pitch competition for a chance to win a total of $30,000 at the Final Pitch Event.

During the first round of pitches, we brought 8 of the best companies we’ve had the pleasure of working with, and after a close call, the winners were:

1st place and $6,000 in Dell Products: Drop Water

2nd place (crowd favorite) and $4,000 in Dell Products: Isodate

A month later, DropWater moved on to the final round of pitches where Scott Edwards, the Founder, and CEO, competed amongst, Studio Pod, NVenue, Boozy Bites, Phlex, Ternary, Every Shelter, and Newly for a chance to win the grand prize of $30,000.

We’re proud of the success Dropwater has achieved and even more proud that they were able to represent us alongside other amazing startups. They’re innovating one of the most important, largest, and most difficult industries. Drop Water is building a new way to distribute and sell bottled drinks, through a 100% fully compostable product. Drop Water water bottles are built not to last and that is why we love them!

After 2 hours of pitches from 8 different companies tackling different problems, the results were in…

We’re not your typical accelerator. DSH is scouring the globe to find game-changing founders at the earliest stage, building industry-transforming companies. Founders will be pushed to their limits mentally and physically, only to come out the other end stronger and better prepared to tackle the challenges of creating an extraordinary business. Startup founders will leave with a toolbelt of resources, knowledge, and connections to continue to thrive after a one-of-a-kind accelerator experience.

We invest $50k in the earliest stage startups. We look for: Exceptional People, Extraordinary & out of the box ideas. We pride ourselves on bringing the resources and tools of Silicon Valley to the rest of the world. Our 2022 Accelerator Cohorts will be in Austin, TX, and Miami, FL.
