On this episode, we are joined by the Founder of CoachTube Wade Floyd, and Draper Associates Investor Matt Harris. They discuss CoachTube, an online platform for people to learn from the best coaches and players in the world.
“So, what is CoachTube?” asked investor, Matt Harris. “Coach tube. We’re the largest platform in the world to teach and learn sports online, so it’s pretty simple. As you guys know, technology has totally changed the way we can learn. Now, that is if you want to learn Photoshop, or If I’m gonna learn Excel spreadsheets, I actually get online, and I can find a great platform and a great course to get me there. But sports are quite a bit different.” Said Floyd, “Historically, if you’ve got money, you can get a private coach. So we power over 1,000 of the top coaches in the world, all their online training organizations & governing bodies. So the main problem we solve is for people who want to make a big impact and teach online in the world of sports. What we do is provide a platform for them to go to. There are over 600 million competitive athletes in the world, and every single one of them wants to get better.”
